Its a boy!!!!
Silas Shay Dabney is here!!!! Silas was born today, Saturday, Aug. 4th, just after 2:00pm. He weighed in at 7lbs/1ounce and measured 18 inches long. Kelly did great!!! She went all natural and did an amazing job! She prayed her way through the whole thing. We are so thankful to God for how good He has been and we feel so blessed. Thank you so much for your prayers. We'll have more pictures soon!

ALL NATURAL!?? No epidural!? For real!? Daniel, buy her a prize... a big prize! That's amazing! Silas is PRECIOUS!! Can't wait for you to post some more pictures! Will be praying for yall as you get used to the newest member of the family. Hope that little Yorkie isn't jealous! :) Blessings to you all!! erika
Way to go Daniel! Looks like the Dabney softball legacy will live on! I better get busy on having a boy of my own so I can watch him & Silas battle it out on the Southeast diamond.
And way to go Kelly! Amazing she went o-naturale. Whoever thought a sweetheart like her could be so tough?

Yes, Kelly is a sweetheart and one tough lady! It was an amazing experience. We'll be praying for your baby! Its great to know that our babies will grow up together! Do you all see Dr. Garrard??? Our OB was out of town, and she was on call and delivered Silas, and she was great! I thought I had heard she was your all's doctor. Anyway, hope to see you all soon.
