Adding and Subtracting
Silas is adding pounds and Kelly is subtracting hair. Kelly decided to get a haircut for the first time since she was 2 years old (she would get trims with her headaches would start!) Kelly had been thinking for awhile about doing it and she knew she could donate it to Locks of Love. Well, while at Kosair, we saw a little child who didn't have any hair, and Kelly knew it was time. She went and had 11 inches or so cut off and donated. And now her hair doesn't get in the way as much as she takes care of Silas, who is growing every day. He smiles so much and is such a happy little boy. Just when it seems we couldn't love him anymore, we love him more and more. We are so thankful for God's blessing.

We are so glad Silas is better. Kelly, We LOVE the haircut! can't believe you havent cut your hair since you were two! we'll at least it is going to a good cause. anyway Silas is as cute as ever! we're not going to make it to vine a.m this week :-( but we hope to see you next week!

Hey, I'm so glad to know that Silas is better! We've been praying for him. God is so good during the difficult times. Today in a chapel here at the seminary, the speaker said that suffering is like the kiss of God in our lives-- like a grandfather's kisses can be gruff and stubbly, they are slightly painful but very sweet.

Yay! Silas is better! I'm so glad! Silas is so adorable....love the pictures...I can't wait to see him in person! I also like the hair cut, Kelly! It looks great!
